This paper aims to examine the efficacious of using social constructivism in teaching sociolinguistics. The students of a bachelor’s degree in a department of English language and linguistics used to suffer in doing sociolinguistic projects and some of them failed in doing so although they obtained good marks in the written exams.

Since March 2020, Indonesia has entered Covid-19 emergency status. Covid-19 pandemic situation forged various aspects, through social, economic, political, and cultural. This situation places Indonesia in a critical situation which has a great chance of social unrest.

Legal consequences for political buzzers in Indonesia that are present as a result of the development of social media in the contemporary era. Social media can be accessed and used by anyone in Indonesia who has the ability to use the required technology, currently there are no specific rules regulating the use of social media even though Indonesia already has Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, however in fact, it has not been able to anticipate the buzzer phenomenon that is present due to the development of social media. Identification of the problem under study is how the legal consequences for political buzzers in Indonesia. This research is a normative legal research using a conceptual approach using primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Analysis of legal materials is carried out using qualitative analysis, with deductive reasoning. The results showed that buzzer is not something that is prohibited, they must make specific legal rules regarding registration on social media and create a social media buzzer settlement system based on character building education so that people will use social media positively.

The phenomenon of taking over financing from conventional banks to Islamic banks carried out by retired customers in Gorontalo City is so large and the majority of the population is Muslim or a religious community making this issue important to research with the aim of knowing and examining the effect of religiosity on retirees customer decisions in taking over from conventional banks to Islamic banks in Gorontalo City.

The life of the Lanting House is now, in the beginning, to be abandoned because the local government is trying to relocate the Lanting House, and there is no legal status of the Lanting House so that many heirs sell the Lanting House only with receipts.

Poetry as a type of old poetry has value contained in it through verse verses and as a literary work. Its existence must be preserved and introduced as an oral tradition to the community. This study examines archaic vocabulary. The existence of this research is expected as a reference for literary theory and an effort to develop one of the old literatures, namely poetry. It can be said that poetry as one of the old poems also uses the old language where the use and meaning of poetic values is conveyed by using the old language where the use and meaning of poetic values is conveyed using beautiful, poetic and meaningful language so that the values that are contained in poetry as a reference for community learning through language. Archaic language is a classic form when the poem was created in its time.

This study is intended to show how the impact of discourse of modernism has made remarkable changes in women’s status in patriarchal societies in the first decades if the twentieth century. Comparatively reading F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby (1925) and Naguib Mahfouz’s Zuqaq al-Midaq (1947) [Midaq Alley (1966)], this paper endeavours to contrast and compare women’s status both in the western and eastern societies after the two world wars; as women’s struggle against patriarchy and its oppressive practices imposed on women was one of the most critical concerns of the time. The American school of comparative literature, particularly the theories put forward by Rene Wellek and Abda Abood, along with Western and Eastern feminist theories of Simone De Beauvoir’s, Christine Delphy, Nawal El Saadawi and Qasim Amin are employed as the theoretical framework of this paper. The observation to emerge from this paper is that women’s social and economic status has been vital to their perpetual oppression.

The present paper is work in progress and closely relates to the earlier introduced idea of monomials and polynomials as substitutes of the term in linguistics when applicable to terminologies, or languages for specific purposes (LSPs). It looks deeper into the investigation of monomials as mono-term (one component), bi-term (two component) and multi-term (three and more components) terms in Ukrainian for Audit and Accounting selected as a sample language from the Slavic language family.

The above findings show that even though the 10 students had little exposure to digital technology when they were school students themselves, but with appropriate training to use print and digital technology and resources in the ELT classroom, they were confident of using both media resources in the future.
